The services provided by us in this Division include negotiating settlement agreements with third parties, both in standard and also Catastrophic/Complex cases, and we have also put together a team specialised in handling and negotiating losses with multiple Claimants.
We are considered market leaders in the adjustment of claims under E&O, D&O, Bankers Blanket Bond, Cash in Transit and Jewellers Block policies.

Our cargo surveyors have experience in a wide range of commodities and the losses handled range from fire damage to mysterious disappearance. Our in-house attorneys are invaluable in the pursuit of recovery actions.
We are nominated adjusters on airline accounts in Argentina. In addition, we have adjusted losses involving a wide variety of aircraft, including helicopters, crop sprayers and business jets.
In addition to the investigation and adjustment of hull losses, we handle passenger and third party liability, crew personal accident and operators’ liability claims.
Insurers and other parties avail themselves of our experience to carry out risk assessment surveys, in respect of both direct and consequential damage, which include recommendations of measures to minimise, control or eliminate the risk exposure.
Risks surveyed include: a railway (including Business Interruption aspects), complex bulk cargo operations on the Paraná River, loading of heavy lift cargo and cash in transit operations. For Liability risks, we have carried out risk assessment surveys and provided consulting services to the principal of one of the major civil works in the region, a major oil & gas company, and a gas transportation company.

The wide range of losses handled by our adjusters includes: fire, flooding and leakages at industrial plants; truck collisions with associated spills, and different events related with discharges of pollutants.
Charterers regularly appoint us to inspect vessel holds, main deck and cargo working areas in order to identify any damage present prior to the vessel coming on hire. The amount of bunkers on board at the delivery time is established and the resulting Delivery Certificate is subsequently issued.
An equivalent Off Hire survey is carried out upon re-delivery of the vessel to Owners. The results of this survey are compared with the previous condition survey carried out on the vessel, in order to ascertain whether new damage has been sustained to the vessel during loading operations and/or by stevedores.
At the request of Shipowners, Charterers or Cargo Interests, we carry out Draft Surveys or Tank Soundings, in order to provide independent assessment of the quantities loaded and/or discharged from a vessel.
Shippers, Receivers, Shipowners and/or their respective Insurers may request us to attend during loading of cargoes such as Steel Coils & Pipes or Heavy Project cargoes in order to ensure that they are correctly loaded, stowed and secured.
Our surveyors are accustomed to carrying out condition surveys on behalf of Hull and P&I Underwriters and are conversant with the requirements of the Joint Hull Committee and several P&I Clubs.
In addition to attending casualties on behalf of Hull Underwriters, we also carry out investigations on behalf of any of the interests concerned in a maritime adventure.
We carry out inspections and independent surveys at the request of any of the interests concerned in foreign trade. We conduct pre-loading, condition and quantity surveys, as well as sampling for analyses by laboratories to fulfil letter of credit requirements.
Vessel flag states have ratified a number of IMO Conventions, which require survey, certification and verification. Our surveyors are authorized by the Maritime Authorities of the Bahamas and Antigua & Barbuda to carry out these surveys on their behalf.
