> Edward Cooper was initially appointed Lloyd's Agent at Montevideo, Uruguay on the 15th January 1896. In the year 1911, four sons of Edward Cooper founded “Edward Cooper & Sons” in Buenos Aires, which received the Lloyd's Agency appointment in 1922. In 1928, this company was renamed “Cooper Brothers”.

The latter appointment has been retained to this day, having last been renewed in 1982, upon the fourth generation of the Cooper family, Andrew and David Cooper, taking on the management of the company.

> Although our origins were in the handling of marine claims and surveys usually associated with Lloyd's Agents, we have developed into a fully fledged international loss adjusting and surveying company, handling a wide variety of claims, including Property All Risks, Business Interruption, Comprehensive General Liability, Construction and Energy, Aviation, Financial Institutions and Specie, etc.

Similarly, from our present base in Buenos Aires, Argentina, we have extended our geographical coverage and now have offices in São Paulo, Brazil and Montevideo, Uruguay.

> At present, we manage a network of Lloyd's Sub-agents based in the main ports of Argentina. Additionally, we have representatives in several Argentine provinces.

We are also members of the Global Network of Lloyd's Agents, consisting of approximately 330 Agents and a further 325 Sub-Agents around the world.
