» On/Off Hire Condition & Bunker Surveys

Charterers regularly appoint us to inspect vessel holds, main deck and cargo working areas in order to identify any damage present prior to the vessel coming on hire. The quantity of bunkers on board at the time of delivery is established and the resulting Delivery Certificate is issued.

An equivalent Off Hire survey is carried out upon re-delivery of the vessel to Owners. This survey is compared with the previous condition survey carried out on the vessel, in order to ascertain whether new damage has been sustained by the vessel during the period under charter.
